	MISSION STATEMENT Legacy of the Great Bears Museum is a Global Natural History Bear Museum that is dedicated to promoting and encouraging a common ground for the world's human society that will aid and support the conservation and preservation of all species of bears and bear habitat.
		Consistent with our Mission Statement, Legacy of the Great Bears Museum will: • Provide high quality education and opportunities for research into the Natural History of the Bear from prehistoric to contemporary times; •Provide a gallery that will introduce a permanent exhibit of paintings of bears past and present by wildlife artists from all over the world. Another gallery will feature rotating exhibits that will give visitors an opportunity to view outstanding photographs of bears. Numerous other colorful displays of multi-dimensional visual art of the bear will be included. The Gallery of Indigenous People of the World will examine many cultures and their very spiritual and unique relationship with the bear. Exhibits of their masterful Visual Art of the Bear will be presented along with myths, legends, and a wide selection of splendid multi-dimensional works. Many other forms of traditional art celebrating the life of the bear will be included.
